A New Sculpture for the Nathalia Hospital!

Vic and Joan Dohnt have done it again!

This week Vic and Joan Dohnt generously added to the sculptures located at the front of NCN Health Nathalia.

The Koala sculpture, like the Emu and Kangaroo before it was designed and created by Shepparton artist Mark Niglia. The sculptures are created from recycled steel reinforcements left over from concreting jobs.

Talking with Vic after he presented the sculpture he said that he loves giving back to the local community, and expressed how lucky we are to have such a wonderful health service in the local area.

The addition of the Koala sculpture into the garden was not done alone, Vic would like to personally thank Noel Gemmill and Kevin Styles for their help in preparing the site and erecting the Koala.

In October 2022 Vic and Joan, along with community volunteers generously donated the Emu and Kangaroo to NCN Health and in doing so have created a visual feature as you enter the Health Service. The addition of the Koala only adds to the display, highlights the regions natural beauty and deepens community ties.
